Type and Scope

 

The final examinations consist of:

  1. the examinations to be taken according to the structure of the degree programme and listed in the module handbook, and
  2. the final thesis.
  3. In the Master's degree programme, a Master's lecture colloquium must also be held.

The Bachelor's thesis can be started if the student has acquired at least 120 credit points, CP for short, in the previous course of study. As a rule, the professional traineeship should have been completed.

The Master's thesis can be started if the student has acquired at least 55 credit points, CP for short, in the course of studies so far.

The thesis is usually written in German. Writing in English must be agreed with the supervisor.

The length of the Bachelor's thesis should not exceed 40 pages or 80,000 keystrokes without annexes. It must be completed within the processing time of 12 weeks.

The Master's thesis should not exceed 80 pages or 160,000 keystrokes without annexes. It must be completed within a period of 6 months.
