Research and Lab work

An important part of your studies is self-study. It is part of the calculation of credit points, called CPs for short, which you receive for a module or a course. Creditpoints stand for the amount of work that a course or a module requires, including preparation and follow-up. Thus, e.g. the module Geographical Methods I of the bachelor program includes 330 hours self-study.

The Department of Geography has both staff and equipment to support you in your research and practical work.

In our library you will find the corresponding literature.

The
computer room does not only offer courses, but is also available for free practice at certain times.
